What is difference between these and loreon kingdom, that is for say swordsman? This is higher resolution?

(+1)(-1)

They are same resolution but different view. they are built for top down while loreon for sideway only.

It give a better overall aesthetic when drawing correctly with game view.

also they are same characters but some are totally different.

no up down direction, pity. It's better making less characters but with top down directions and more animations then I'd buy all assets like this.

Thank you for interesting. However I dont have a plan to make up and down direction.

oooo and a 2 handed weapon attack. Would be awesome!

2 handed weapon is nice idea which I could make an another character.

right now I'm doing single attack type for each character. There could be a hero pack where extra , multi animations will be apply.

Honestly, friend, I love your art.  The only reason I'm not using them is that I need them in the up-and-down direction also and no artist sadly. I would pay you at least 50.00 for that.

Thank you!

50$ as not exclusive art is doable but I'm afraid if increase price too high then people will not be able to buy it. Maybe just one or two buyer or even noone buy it.

Commission work is too expensive. The cost will be great than x50-x100 of this pack price. That's why I dont take commission works.

I have a question. For top  down perspective will there be "Up" and "Down" walking animations or is it just left and right?

The assets only have one direction to right , you can flip direction to left.

It don't have up, down direction.

There are alot of indie games in steam did the same. Like Stoneshard or The Unliving

The reason is save time so I can produce more units and have time to make more environments.

Without up/down direction, these are basically the same as the Loreon pack, except the Loreon has much more detailed animations.

In reality, we can just use your Loreon pack for the same perspective used in Stoneshard or The Unliving, too.

As a consumer, I would personally prefer to see more packs with high quality animations in the same perspective as the Loreon pack instead of this 'top' perspective that doesn't meet the same quality standard (very few animations, even if it's just left/right and bear in mind if we just FLIP to other side, the weapon changes to the wrong hand). Just feedback from a client who is going to buy most of your higher quality packs later this month for an upcoming production (but unfortunately not this pack which doesn't meet the quality requirements for the production).

Thanks for your critique and feedback! I appreciate that!

They are real different set than Loreon pack! If you put they at same top-down backgrounds, they will look very differents in many animations. I have to redraw everything, just use few of same designs.

I'm sorry that this asset does not meet your requirements! However this is what we planned before. We are going to be more quantity , we keep the quality but reduce the number of animations to be able make more units within the same times.

There are no perfect assets, if the assets good for some then they will not good for another. We're aiming to make a larger numbers of different units to allow game creator have more choices on unit variants.

For now, we just started and doing it along with environments so it's very tough works for us right now. but give us times after 3 months and later , there will be a lot of units and environments to choose from.

For the sideway perspective, I'll continue to produce same assets when have enough top-down packs.

Oh, trust me I understand the reasoning behind simplifying the animations. Even if 1000 devs make games and don't profit, they'll still have purchased products from artists. Ultimately, mass production of simpler goods is more profitable for you in the long run.

I simply wanted to express that your higher quality packs are a boon. Having seen every single pixel character art available on this website, as well as a few other sites like OpenGameArt, IMO your older packs are some of the best quality out there. ^^

I've bought all your assets before and love all of your work! Glad you are back!

Yes, thank you! Good luck on your project too!

Love the top-down perspective! I'd buy a comprehensive set like this for my top-down game, if there were a variety of roguelike enemies and humanoids.
